Our identity

A studio where culture becomes creation

NZONZI Studio was founded in Brussels in 2025 by Tauliaut Mike and Taliane Poaty — screenwriter and art director — sharing one conviction: Afro-Caribbean stories deserve to be told with as much visual ambition as any other.

From Brussels and our production unit in Congo-Brazzaville, we work with brands, institutions and independent creators, and develop MIWA, our original manga license, currently being acquired by European publishing houses.

Our ambition: to become a leading reference for Afro content across manga, animation and, soon, video games — and to bring African culture to the world stage.
